What I do

I take end-to-end ownership of the instructional design lifecycle. From scoping and storyboarding through to SCORM-packaged, learner-ready content. I work with subject matter experts, quality teams, and awarding bodies to build courses that are pedagogically sound, engaging, and audit-ready.

Full instructional design for regulated and accredited programmes. Learning outcome mapping, content development, assessment design, SCORM packaging. Up to 180 GLH per course.

Why work with me

I've designed learning for universities, multinational brands, training providers, and the public sector. I understand accredited provision, regulatory requirements, Ofsted frameworks, and what auditors actually look for. I've built courses from scratch, redesigned failing programmes, and set up LMS platforms from the ground up.

I'm not a generalist who dabbles in learning design. This is all I've done for 26 years. I bring my own tools, I manage my own time, and I deliver on deadline. I understand both the institutional and the commercial side of education delivery.

I also run Outside of the Fox, a design and learning studio working across e-learning, web, accessibility and digital products. So if you need more than learning design, whether that is platform advice, an accessibility audit or digital strategy, I can help with that too.
